• 摘要：对白地霉C₃菌株的致癌性进行了实验,并进行了与其有关的人畜流行病学调查和工人的肿瘤普查,对其致病性和合理使用方面进行了进一步的研究。结果表明,白地霉C₃菌无致癌或致病作用,同时发现抽提了核酸后的白地霉菌可作为饲料。

• Abstract：The safety of Geotrichum candidum strain C₃, produced from soybean and starch process wastes, as a source of single cell protein for animals was studied by means of chronic animal experiments as well as epidemiological and epizootic investigation. Daily feeding of powdered Geotrichum candidum (up to 25% in feeds) for two years failed to increase significantly tumour incidence or to cause early appearance of tumours in male Wistar rats and C₅₇BL mice. No excess of cancer or fungal infection was observed among 338 workers exposed to Geotrichum for more than 10 years. Epizootic survey on domestic animals fed with the fungus and pathological appraisal of domestic animals fed with Geotrichum did not show any increased incidence of tumours as compared with natural controls.
